Mother's Day

{May 8, 2011}

When Connor came into this world, my life changed for the better... he made me want 

to be a better person. God blessed me with a perfect little angel. When Connor looks at me, my heart 

is filled with joy... I am so proud of all he has learned in just 8 months and can't wait to teach him

more. I love being the one he depends one, making him feel better when he is sad, 

running in his room in the mornings to see him smile, feeding him, kissing his sweet little 

hands, and making him giggle. 

Thank you Connor for coming into this world. I am blessed to be your MOM.

I love you lots.

Two Years

{May 8, 2009}

This year Ryan and I celebrated our Two Year Anniversary... 

I made a delicious meal at home and we ate under candlelight. In the background,

I had a playlist which included our wedding song "Fall" by Clay Walker

We reminisced about the first time we met and all the 

memories we have shared. 

On September 6, 2010 we brought our sweet baby boy Connor into this world. It was 

one of the most amazing experiences in our lives...each day we 

watch our little guy grow and learn new things. We are so blessed and fortunate to have him

in our lives.

Camping with Connor

Connor had such a fun time on his first camping trip...

We drove out west to the dunes (Cherry Creek to be specific)

Since there is still snow up in the mountains, we decided that the desert would work. It was still a little

chilly when the sun would go behind the clouds, but 

we managed just fine. I would say that we experienced the four seasons... the last night we were there, the wind picked up and we got up the next 

morning to a blanket of snow. We spent our first the little guy's first camping trip with Anthony, Alee, 

and the Kings. Connor loved the outdoors! 

We are glad our little guy enjoyed himself because we are definitely planning on camping

a lot this summer... 

Bedtime Story

Ryan and I have always agreed that sticking to a schedule makes one happy baby. So every night before Connor fades  away to dreamland, we read him a story. He understands what we are doing and always listens so intently. And sometimes he even looks up to watch as we read... 

This is probably one of the best parts of my day. I just love cuddling with

my little Munchkin. Ryan and I are also pretty good about rotating the parental responsibilities, even when it comes to story time. And so every other night, we get to 

treasure this special time with our sweet boy. These are the little things that I love about our Life....

Half way there...

March 6, 2011 - 6 Months old

I can't believe Connor is 6 months old!!!... Where does the time go?... It seems like every day 

he is learning something new. Ryan and I have enjoyed every minute

we spend with him. Some days, I wish I could go back in time when I was on 

Maternity Leave and just stay at home and watch him dream. Other days, I look forward to watching 

him walk for the first time. We both have really enjoyed watching every stage... and 

are so fortunate to have such a happy, healthy, sweet lil man.

Here are a few things that our little guy has been up too....

- Eating solid foods

-Rolling over

-Passing a toy from one hand to the other

-Says ma ma (even though Ryan doesn't want to admit it)

-Turns and twist in all directions

-Looks and turns when he hears his name

-Studies things for a long time

-Understands the tone of our voice

-Plays games with Dad

-Loves to be cuddled by Mom

-Learning how to sit up

-When he is on his stomach he creeps back and forth

-Loves watching Zoie (our dog) run around 

-Enjoys being read too

-Loves bouncing in his jump-a-roo

-Reaches for his toys
